The Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) program at the Loma Linda University School of Nursing, will prepare you to meet the specialized physiologic and psychological needs of adults (18+) with complex acute and chronic health conditions. The continuum of care spans the geographic settings of the home, emergency departments, hospitals, sub-specialty clinics, and intensive care units. The program is offered in a hybrid format, only requiring four to ten days on campus each quarter.

The Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AC-PNP) program at the Loma Linda University School of Nursing, will prepare you to meet the specialized physiologic and psychological needs of children (birth to 21 years) with complex acute and chronic health conditions. The continuum of care spans the geographic settings of the home, emergency departments, hospitals, sub-specialty clinics, and intensive care units. The program is offered in a hybrid format, only requiring four to ten days on campus each quarter.

Prepares nurses to engage in research that develops knowledge relevant to nursing science and practice.

The Clinical Nurse Specialist: Adult/Gerontology (CNS) is an expert in evidence-based practice, integrating knowledge of disease and medical treatments into the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients’ illnesses to improve patient outcomes. The CNS curriculum offers the opportunity for students to choose a selected area of clinical nursing. The program is offered in a hybrid format, only requiring four days on campus each quarter. Part-time study is available, and courses are offered to accommodate working nurses.

As an FNP you are positioned to become an expert in each patient’s health history, and health background. Providing care throughout each individual’s life span will help you make the best healthcare recommendations possible. With an emphasis on preventative care, many Family Nurse Practitioners practice primarily in ambulatory care settings, and make significant contributions to underserved populations. The program is offered in a hybrid format, only requiring four days on campus each quarter. Part-time option available.

The MS to DNP program allows nurses who already have a masters degree to achieve a doctoral degree.

Neonatal NP's are prepared for careers in a variety of settings, including: *Neonatal intensive care units  *Labor and delivery  *Well baby units  *Outpatient clinics and during transport services
The Neonatal NP concentration of the DNP (45 months full-time) will have all 15 quarters as online hybrid courses (autumn, winter, spring, and summer).  All clinical courses are face-to-face

Working within a collaborative and inter-professional environment, the nurse in executive practice is influential in improving the patient experience of care (including quality and satisfaction), improving the health of populations and reducing the per capita cost of health care.

Accelerated nursing program for non-nurse college baccalaureate graduates who wish to become registered nurses (RNs). This program prepares students in the provision of evidence-based nursing care with an emphasis on care coordination, religious/cultural care, and wellness/illness continuum.

The AGNP program emphasizes preventative care for patients 12 years of age and older.

The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) prepares professionals for advanced training in quality nursing care for children, adolescents and infants. Upon completion of the LLU School of Nursing Pediatric NP program, graduates will be equipped with the skills necessary to act as a primary care provider for patients under the age of 21.

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Psych NP) program promotes whole person care, by focusing on the mental, physical, and spiritual health of patients. Students are prepared to promote optimal mental health, prevention, and treatment of psychiatric disorders and health maintenance within a variety of settings across the life span.

The BS program prepares students for professional nursing in acute and community settings, and is structured to accommodate schedules of working RNs by allowing students to attend full or part-time.
