A Message From President Hilliard

Dear Graduates, Families, and Friends of Loma Linda University,

On behalf of Loma Linda University, it is my privilege to congratulate the Class of 2027 and invite you to join us in celebrating this significant milestone.

This achievement represents years of dedication and perseverance. Behind every degree is a story of growth shaped by a calling that will deepen as you draw upon your educational experience in the years ahead.

Loma Linda University was founded on the conviction that whole person care is central to the healing ministry of Jesus Christ. As important as the professional skills you have developed are the values of compassion, service, and purpose that have shaped your education. As you prepare to graduate, remember that who you are becoming matters as much as what you have learned.

Our 2027 commencement celebrations will take place over two weekends. Graduates from the Schools of Dentistry, Medicine, and Pharmacy will be honored May 28-30, 2027. Graduates from the Schools of Allied Health Professions, Behavioral Health, Nursing, Public Health, Religion, and San Manuel Gateway College will be celebrated June 11-13, 2027.

Commencement is both a celebration of your achievement and the beginning of a new chapter. Whether your path leads to patient care, research, education, ministry, public health, or service in your community, you are now part of a legacy dedicated to bringing hope, healing, and wholeness to a world in need.

I am proud of the accomplishments of the Class of 2027 and look forward to celebrating this special occasion with you, your families, and your friends.

Congratulations, graduates. May God continue to guide your path as you answer your calling.

Sincerely,

Anthony A. Hilliard, MD, FACC
President, Loma Linda University
