• Peru Research Data Management and Interpretation (LLU) Directed geology research focused in the temporal and spatial evolution of magmatic arcs in the American Cordillera. The study area is the Peruvian Coastal Batholith. Directed sample selection for several analyses and data interpretation, working with students (Lance Pompe PhD, Raquel Bendita MS, Alex Voos BS, and colleagues Ben Clausen, Greg Holk, Scott Paterson, and Vali Memeti). Location: Mortensen Hall Lab B14 Description of Lab: The Minerals Research Laboratory will support research, development, and implementation of mineral separation and mineral imaging techniques to study and characterize single mineral chemistry.  This is a work in progress; the activities developed involve submitting grant proposals to cover costs, then buying equipment and materials, organizing and assembling equipment.
