Assistant Professor, Earth and Biological Sciences
Dr. Ana M. Martinez-Ardila is an igneous petrologist who has current projects in geochemistry and geochronology of continental arcs. Her projects are located in Southern California, Hawaii, Colombia, Peru, and Chile. Dr. Martinez-Ardila worked as a post-doc in the University of Southern California, then at the California State University of Fullerton. She has a PhD in Earth Sciences from Loma Linda University, a Masters of Earth Sciences from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, and a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Universidad Industrial de Santander.
