After a full career in private practice as a general dentist I retired in 2004. I wasn't ready to completely hang up my association with dentistry so it was suggested to me that teaching what I had practiced all my professional life might be a useful way to give back. I joined LLUSD in 2008 as a assistant clinical professor which started 16 years of sharing with pre-doc students the basics of clinical practice. The result has been a very gratifying second career in teaching that I enjoy to the present date.
