About Gordon H. Sasaki, MD

Dr. Sasaki is a board certified member of the american Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, New York Academy of Science, Association for Academic Surgeons, Honorary Member of the Australian Society of Aesthetic Surgeons, and an Affiliate of the Royal Society of Medicine in England.

He received his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine and completee his general surgery training, as well as fellowships in surgical oncology and breast cancer research at the University of Oregon Medical Center.  Dr. Sasaki subsequently returned to Yale to complete his plastic surgery training and hand fellowship. Dr. Sasaki is double board certified in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery.  He is a Clinical Professor at Loma Linda University Medical School, and teaches otehr plastic surgeons on a national and international level.  In May of 2001, Dr. Sasaki was presented with the Jerome R. Klingbeil, M.D. Award for teaching excellence by the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Sasaki is best known for his innovative blending of lower lid and cheek area through his Malar Fat Pad Suture Suspension technique.  Dr. Sasaki also pioneered the endoscopic forehead lift that revolutionized plastic surgery.
