My research interest is neuroprotection, particularly in the context of acute brain injury resulting from stroke, neurosurgery, trauma, or cardiac arrest. By utilizing clinically relevant animal models,  research is performed to elucidate the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying brain injury and to explore innovative translational therapeutic strategies.
