About Mark E. Holthouse, MD

My name is Mark Holthouse. I am a board certified Family Physician practicing in El Dorado Hills, California. I practice Integrative Primary Care and am Medical Director at the n1 Center for Functional Medicine. I work using nutrition , acupuncture, supplements and other lifestyle strategies to decrease risks and costs of relying only on prescription drugs and surgery for chronic diseases. I practice full time and am on the teaching faculty @ LLUMC SM as well as the Institute for Functional Medicine. I am a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner as of 11/2013 with over 8 years of experience in integrative and 20 years of traditional primary care. I enjoy teaching as much as I do clinical practice.
