About Julia E. Hollister, PhD

Julia Hollister earned her PhD in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Iowa in 2015. She has been a member of the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Loma Linda University’s School of Allied Health Professions since that time. Prior to pursuing her PhD, her professional experience included providing speech-language pathology services in inpatient and outpatient medical settings, as well as in private practice. She is an ASHA Board Certified Specialist in stuttering, cluttering, and other fluency disorders. Her professional interests include child and adult stuttering, human resiliency, and service learning. She is honored to be a part of each student’s professional journey.
