About Jason W. Gatling, MD

As a member of the Department of Anesthesiology, my mission at Loma Linda University Health is to practice excellence in the clinical care of patients, to educate physicians to become accomplished in all aspects of anesthesia practice, and to help define the forefront of research.  And as an integral component of Loma Linda University Health, to manifest my commitment to advancing the specialty through its educational, clinical, research, and mission endeavors.  Above all, my purpose is to nurture current and future leaders in anesthesia whose professionalism will bring imagination, commitment, and compassion to the medical, social, scientific, and ethical challenges of our society.  I strive to provide safe care of the highest quality to all patients irrespective of background, identity, or means.  And my objective is to educate the consultant anesthesiologist of the future.  To accomplish this mission, I will teach and learn from one another in an environment of mutual respect, open discourse, and honest self-reflection.
