If you sign up for our in person Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Information Session, we will cover:
• What a PTA does and the career opportunities available
• Program prerequisite courses and how to apply
• What to expect from coursework, labs, and clinical rotations
• Program expectations, time commitment, and professionalism
• Tuition, fees, and financial aid
• Your next steps toward joining the program
• A guided campus tour, including:
o Classrooms
o Skills and simulation labs
o Program and department offices
o Key campus buildings such as the library, cafeteria, and the Centennial building (cadaver lab)
o Other important student spaces
There will be walking during the tour, so please wear comfortable shoes. A light snack is also provided.
This in person session gives you a clear overview of the PTA program and a firsthand look at the spaces where you’ll learn and train.
