Program Description
The 3-year bachelor of science in global health* degree equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to address today's most pressing health challenges from a local-global perspective. This program allows you to complete your bachelor's degree in just three years, saving money on tuition and living expenses while entering the workforce a full year ahead with the same quality education.Through case studies, fieldwork, and interdisciplinary projects, students will develop technical skills in public health research and programming, community outreach, health communication, and culturally responsive care.
*This degree may not transfer to other universities.

As a student, you’ll have an established network with local and international partners that will prepare you for internships and employment at places like the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health, El Sol, Inland Empire Health Plan, Riverside University Health, Kaiser Permanente, and Desert Health Care District.
Admissions Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum overall high school or previous college G.P.A. of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale is required
- Personal Statement outlining your interest in global health, relevant experience, and career aspirations
- Two letters of recommendation that discuss applicant’s academic and/or professional background
- For recent high school graduates of within the past 2 years, recommendations from high school teachers and administrators are preferred
- Language Proficiency: International students must meet language proficiency requirements. This could involve providing scores from standardized English language proficiency tests such as the TOEFL iBT (80 or higher) or IELTS (6.5 or higher). Alternatively, the program might accept other evidence of English proficiency, such as previous academic coursework in English.

The following estimated cost of attendance is based on full-time attendance for the number of months enrolled per academic year. Estimated amounts may vary based on a number of factors. Students may use these estimates when applying for financial aid.

- Estimated amounts are for the academic year specified only. Amounts are based on full-time attendance for the number of months enrolled per academic year. International students need to calculate 12 months of living expenses based on these amounts.
- Amounts are expected to increase each year consistent with inflation in the professional education sector.
- To qualify for financial aid, most students must be enrolled at least half time in an aid eligible program and be taking degree requirements. Half time is 6 units in a quarter for undergraduate programs and 4 units in a quarter for graduate programs.
