Program Description
The Doctor of Public Health in Preventive Care prepares professionals who specialize in promoting well-being for the whole person. The main focus of the program is evidence-based lifestyle interventions for individuals and communities. A Preventive Care specialist is trained to practice alongside other health professionals in medical settings and clinics, complementing the work of physicians; to advise local, state and national public health agencies and to teach and conduct research in academic and industry settings.

Admissions Requirements
- M.P.H. degree or a master's degree in a health-related field preferred
