Admissions Requirements


  • GPA of 3.2 or higher in science courses
  • Baccalaureate Degree preferred
  • DAT scores of 19 or higher & taken by October
  • Shadowing / Observing / Volunteering - a minimum of 50 hours in a dental setting is required, more is strongly recommended.
  • Fluency in English is required

Prerequisites

Required Courses
 
1.      General Biology w/ lab – 1 year
2.      General Chemistry w/lab – 1 year
3.      Organic Chemistry w/lab – 1 year
4.      Biochemistry - 1 semester or 2 quarters
5.      General Physics w/lab – 1 year
6.      English Composition – 1 year

Science courses must be completed within 5 years of beginning dental school.
Courses must be a C or higher to meet LLUSD requirements.
