About Loredana E. Trica, MBA

Personal Statement

My professional goal is to contribute to the mission of Loma Linda University by integrating education, clinical practice, public health, and service. As a faculty member in the Department of Periodontics at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, I am committed to supporting student learning, promoting evidence-based dental education, and helping future dental professionals understand the important connection between oral health and overall health.

During this past year, I have continued to grow as an educator and healthcare professional while pursuing my Doctor of Public Health degree with an emphasis in Health Education. My doctoral studies have strengthened my understanding of health education, communication, program planning, evaluation, and community engagement. I hope to apply this knowledge to further strengthen the connection between dentistry and public health within our academic and clinical environments.

I am also committed to continuous professional and personal development. I value opportunities to learn from colleagues, students, community partners, and interdisciplinary experiences. Through teaching, service, scholarship, and my doctoral education, I hope to contribute meaningfully to Loma Linda University's mission of transforming lives through education, healthcare, and service.

Looking ahead, I remain committed to developing as an educator and leader, supporting our students, contributing to the dental profession, and identifying opportunities for meaningful collaboration between oral health and public health. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve at Loma Linda University and look forward to continuing to grow and contribute to the University's mission.
