  • Orognathic Bioesthetic- Level IV  Completed Level IV audit of Orognathic Bioesthetics International  "Bioesthetic Rahabilitation" (05/2010 - 09/2012)
  • Orognathic Bioesthetic International- Level III Course I am auditing this course in order to be eventually appointed as a teaching faculty for OBI.  This involves auditing 2 Level II courses, a Level III and a Level IV course over three to four years. While auditing, I am expected to help teach students that are taking the course for the first time. (08/2009 - 03/2010)
  • Oral Surgery for the General Practicioner One day course present through the Indian Dental Association, involving techniques used to make impactions easier and quicker. (05/2009)
  • Loma Linda Implant Maxicourse The thrust of this program is to prepare the student to sit for the AAID test to become and Associate Fellow.  The course is and extensive literature review as well as didactic teaching of all things relating to placing implants, grafting sites and restoring the implants prosthodontically.  It meets two days per month and has one online session per month along with required reading per month.   • Level II/ III OBI Course Personally had demo of the corallary to the Jaw Motion Tracker from Sirona.  Actually, it is the same instrument as the SciCat JMT, just different software. (03/2016)
  • OBI Level IV Graduation Attendance at this semminar ws to hear Dr. David Hatcher teach about 3-D imaging as it is related to the TM Joint (02/2016)
  • OBI Anual Meeting Attended the anual meeting where various topics were discussed as it relates to whole person, team treatment of patients.  Presenters included and Osteoplath/Physician, Manual Physical Therapist, DDS/MD Oral Surgeon, Roth Trained Orthodontist and a Bioesthetic Dentist.Personally, I presented with co-authors, about the status of future research and follow up to the article published March, 2015 in General Dentistry.   • Sirona 3-D One day seminar showcasing more 3-D imaging, diagnostic protocols and Cad-Cam milling of crowns and implant devices.  This seminar also connected the information from the Galeleos Imaging system with the Cad-Cam system of the Omnicam and SciCat jaw motion tracker. (10/2015)
  • Annual OBI meeting held in Albuquerque, NM. Dealt promarily with the biology and function of the stomatognathic system (11/2007)
  • "Oral Biology II" This two day course by Dr. Jeff Rayle of OBI is the second half of Oral Biology I. More on the biochemical and cellular level of the Stomatognathic System and health. (11/2006)
  • OBI Annual Meeting. This three day meeting featured Steve Milam D.D.S., PH.D. His topic was TMD:Emerging Concepts and Therapies. This course provided insights into the possible molecular mechanisms that underly temoro-mandibular disorders. Dr. John Grippo lectured on the dynamics of occlusion and its relationship to worn dentition. (10/2006)
  • "Oral Biology I" OBI course presented by Dr. Jeff Rayle on integrating and "connecting the dots" of what happens at the biochemical and cellular level of the stomatognathic system. In particular he talked about specific nutritional deficiencies that are apparent in blood chemistries, the six sub-clinical signs of disease (From Sam Queen''s a Mouthful of Evidence) and how this relates to the beginning of tooth decay, periodontal disease, TMD and other systemic signs and symptoms of disease s... "Oral Biology I" OBI course presented by Dr. Jeff Rayle on integrating and "connecting the dots" of what happens at the biochemical and cellular level of the stomatognathic system.   • OBI Annual Meeting. This meeting focused on a presentaion by a professor from UCLA on TMD treatment and research. Dr. Jess Clifford and his work in immunolgy and toxicology as it relates to the immunological responses of the blood of individual patients to different chemical, agents and dental materials. the last presentation was by Dr Mitch Turk from Los Angeles. He presented a retrospective follow-up of restored Bioesthetic (OBI) cases ten to eighteen years post treatment. (10/2005)
  • "Management II" This three day course is a follow up of "Management I" (also a three day course) at the Schuster Center for Professional Development. These courses provide intruction, systems, homework and person coaching for the doctor and staff in developing polcies and systems to manage a dental practice including, but, not limited to, accounts receivabel/payable control, overhead control, escrowing and patient management.   • "Blueprint" This two day course with the Schuster Center for Professional Development,provided instruction, systems, homework and coaching in developing a business plan for a dentist to go to a financial institution and secure financing for a new practice and/or upgrading an existing one. Also, this could be modified into a prospectus that would allow a prospective buyer and/or financial istitution to asess tthe value of an existing dental practice. (10/2004)
