About Yoginder Singh, MBBS, MD

I am experienced well rounded clinician with over 20 years’ experience in pediatrics including 10 years as a consultant neonatologist in tertiary NICUs. Having worked in six busy tertiary neonatal services during my career I can bring breadth of experience from other units. As a dedicated clinician and motivated academic with broad experience in neonatology, clinical echocardiography and extensive experience in teaching/training echocardiography I can bring complimentary skills set to the neonatal team and neonatal research team, especially for the hemodynamic consultations and research in neonatal cardiology / cardiovascular physiology. In addition to providing high quality neonatal care, I can contribute immensely in training neonatal / pediatric fellows, especially in echocardiography and neonatal cardiology. With my advanced functional echocardiography skills, I can help the team in conducting high quality research trials.

I describe myself as a hardworking, highly motivated, and very flexible in working. My consultant colleagues find me a reliable person with great initiative, infectious enthusiasm, and I am considered a thoughtful and well-respected member of the team. Outside medicine, my friends and team members describe me as a fun person to go out with. I organise social events for my team and enjoy countryside walks with friends and family.
