About Alfred A. Simental, Jr., MD, MBA

Dr Simental has served as the Chairman of Otolaryngology Head Neck Surgery for over 12 years.  While serving many administrative roles throughout the LLU Health System, he has continued an active practice in Oncologic Head Neck Surgery - specializing in Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery for more than 15 years.  He has maintained a nationally recognized and collegial standard as one of the premier thyroid and parathyroid surgeons in North America.  He continues to have active friendships and scholarly relationships with the national leaders in this field.   He has successfully trained dozens of residents and fellows in head and neck oncology with an emphasis in thyroid and parathyroid surgery.
