About Eunice Sandoval Alfaro, MSN

As a first-generation college graduate, I am delighted to share my experience and support to other students that are on the same career path. As a minority nurse and advocate for the Latino population, I encourage my peers and students to overcome language barriers to provide the best patient care and results. Finally, as a Seventh-Day Adventist and youth leader, I strive to consistently share and reflect the love of Jesus Christ.

After working as a bedside nurse during COVID-19 and receiving my CMSRN, I felt the need to further my career as a nurse educator and advocate for nursing students and recent graduate RNs. As a preceptor, I enjoyed teaching and providing insight to new nurses and when I saw them grow, I felt overjoyed because they were experiencing the true art of nursing: helping those that need it the most with compassion and confidence. My ultimate goal is to provide an interactive learning environment for the current and future nursing workforce.

"Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity." 1 Timothy 4:12 NIV
