Special Projects
- Organizing and hosting the 7th International Congress on Vegetarian Nutrition Over 750 people attended from 36 countries. We welcomed international scientists, physicians, nutritionists, dieticians and other health professionals to showcase the latest advances from basic science, epidemiology clinical trials in vegetarian nutrition. The congress theme was “Plant-based Nutrition for Personal, Population and Planetary Health.” (02/2017 - 02/2018)
- Creation of website dedicated to Environmental Nutrition Research. Visitors can access three videos and the publications from research by SPH researchers. (06/2015 - 09/2015)
- Creation of the McLean Postdoctoral Fellowship Program in Environmental Nutrition. This research position is specifically designed to investigate the impact of food production, processing, distribution and consumption on the environment and public health (10/2008 - Present)
