  • Provost's Honors, University of California, San Diego. Grade-point average of 3.5 or higher for at least 12 graded units. (1997)
  • Highest Distinction in Psychology Successfully completed the Psychology Honors Program (including advanced courses and Senior Honors Thesis) at the University of California, San Diego; graduated with a GPA higher than 3.9 in Psychology (2000)
  • Walter Locke Memorial Scholarship Competitive scholarship awarded by the Clinical Psychology division based on academic, clinical, and teaching performance, as well as service activities (2003)
  • Texas Tech University Psychology Department Travel Award Received four travel awards (2003)
  • Best Researcher in Clinical Psychology Award. Selected as the best student researcher in Clinical Psychology for the 2004-2005 academic year based on research record and faculty nominications (2004)

  • Theodore Andreychuk Endowed Scholarship Awarded to the top graduate student in the Department of Psychology, Texas Tech University. (The Department of Psychology at Texas Tech University awards doctorates in Clinical, Counseling, and Experimental Psychology and houses over 100 graduate students.) (2005)
  • 5th Advanced Training Institute on Health Behavior Theory. Selected via national competitive application process to attend week-long workshop on health behavior theory. Funded by the National Institutes of Health (2010)
  • University Nominee, Future Leaders in Cancer Prevention and Epidemiology Research Special Symposium, American Association for Cancer Research University-wide nomination of two outstanding young investigators who conduct research with important implications for cancer prevention or epidemiology (2010)
