About John H. Kelly, Jr., MD, MPH

Dr. Kelly completed his undergraduate studies in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Shepherd University, graduating Summa Cum Laude as a McMurran Scholar. He completed the Dual MD/MPH Degree Program at Loma Linda University in Epidemiology with honors. He is trained in Preventive and Lifestyle Medicine (LLM), is a Fellow of the American College of LM (ACLM), certified as a LM Intensivist by the American Board of LM (ABLM), and has done private- and government-funded research in LM. He served as Founding President of the ACLM, co-authored ACLM’s Official Board Review Course in LM, served on ACLM’s Expert Panel and Research Committee, authored the chapter on Intensive Therapeutic LM in James Rippe's comprehensive text on LM, and was Co-PI for a $2-million, 3-year federally funded RCT using LM to treat and reverse type 2 diabetes in the Marshall Islands. He has published peer-reviewed papers on reversing type 2 diabetes with intensive LM treatment (ITLC). He currently teaches LM using leading-edge ITLC training programs in various locations, nationally and internationally. Presently he is leading the development of a model training LM Sanitarium near Berrien Springs, MI.
