About Cheryl L. Green, MD, PhD
Cheryl L. Green, M.D., Ph.D., is the Director of Lifestyle Psychiatry at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine, where she also teaches medical students, psychiatry residents, and fellows. Green holds degrees from Harvard University (A.B.), Stanford University School of Medicine (M.D.), and Princeton University (Ph.D.), and she is board certified in Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and Lifestyle Medicine. Green has written and lectured in the fields of cancer biology and lifestyle psychiatry, and since early 2020, she has directed one of the first lifestyle psychiatry clinics in the United States. Green is active in the American Psychiatric Association, serving as a founding member of the Lifestyle Psychiatry Caucus, and in the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, for which she developed the Mental Health Module of the Lifestyle Medicine Residency Curriculum that is currently used in training programs throughout the world.
