About Shane J. Gemoto, OTD, OTR/L

As an Assistant Professor and Academic Fieldwork Coordinator in LLU’s EOTD program, I prepare students to become compassionate, ethical, and competent occupational therapists. Drawing on my background in mental health and pediatrics, I connect theory to practice through case-based learning, hands-on activities, and reflection. I collaborate with students and fieldwork educators to support professional growth while maintaining clear expectations. Guided by my faith and commitment to whole-person care, I strive to develop practitioners who help people participate in meaningful occupations.
