About Lorraine M. Elit, MD, MSc

Laurie Elit MD MSc DTMH FRCS(C) is a gynecologic oncologist. She is assistant professor at Loma Linda University in conjunction with her roles as faculty in PanAfrican Academy of Christian Surgeons (PAACS) program at Mbingo Hospital which is part of the Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Services (CBCHS) in North West Cameroon, site director of the Masters in Public Health Program at the Baptist Institute of Health Scirences (BIHS) and vice dean of Research for BIHS. Dr. Elit is professor emeritus in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at McMaster University, Hamilton and University of Toronto, Canada. Her research interests revolve around health service delivery for gynecologic cancer not only locally but globally.
