About Graciela G. Duran, BS
I am deeply committed to creating a positive, engaging, and impactful learning experience for my students. My teaching philosophy is rooted in fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where learners feel empowered to participate actively, think critically, and apply their knowledge in meaningful ways. By incorporating interactive case studies, real-world clinical scenarios, and open dialogue, I strive to cultivate both curiosity and deeper understanding of the complexities in dental care.
Over the past year, my work in the IPE HIV Training Program has further shaped my approach, reinforcing the value of interprofessional collaboration in preparing students to care for diverse populations. My goal as an educator is not only to impart knowledge but also to build confidence, empathy, and professional identity—equipping students to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care in their future roles.
