Other Research

  • Safe Sleep QI project - Co-investigator: M. Garberoglio This QI project was done in our newborn nusery to improve education and teaching on infant safe sleep practices.  A new hospital policy was written, new nursing workflows were developed and taught, and weekly monitoring and re-education were done as needed.  We improved on all 4 quality indicators that were being measured.  Ongoing monthly monitoring is being done to see if the education and workflows continue. (10/2014 - 05/2015)
  • Co-PI for RSV vaccines in pregnant women Partnering with OB on this Pfizer/Matisse study.  Infants born to mothers who are vaccinated are tracked for 2 years. (05/2020 - Present)
