  • Member of the VAMC (Deans Hospital) Psychiatry Residency Review Committee that works with the Residency Director to ensure that LLU Psychiatry Residents and other trainees rotating on our Service get outstanding training and teaching in every Section of the Behavioral Medicine Service. We assist with Psychiatric Resident rotations, VA on call issues, Didactic Teaching, Clinical Supervision, Mentoring and Advisorship of residents and conduct annual Mock Psychiatric Examination Boards.   • DR J V BHAT ENDOWMENT - I am a member of the Dr J V BHAT ENDOWMENT Committe of the Manipal Academy of Health Sciences, Manipal, India. This honors the memory of my father who was an internationally recognized scientist by having an imminent scientist deliver an oration annually. (07/2006 - 08/2009)

It preserves, promotes and furthers the culture and traditions of Konkanis, a minority group of less than 2 million worldwide and originating from India.   • Member - 1. Awards Committee of the Konkani Association of Ontario, Canada. My family sponsored 2 of the 10 Awards this Committe presented at the 6th North American Konkani Conference held from 7.1.06 to 7.3.06 in Hamilton, Ontario. 2. Assisted the Volunteer and Special Needs Committees of the Konkani Association of Ontario, Canada. (07/2004 - 07/2006)
  • Chairman - 1. Recognition Committee of the Konkani Association of Southern California (KASC). I made a substantial donation to support activity of this Committee and sponsored 2 of the 5 Awards that were awarded at the 5th North American Konkani Sammelan held in July 2004 at Garden Grove, California. 2.
