• Deans Foods Hosted a health fair at the Deans Foods facility for all employees. Conditions such as hyperlipidemia, diabetes, heart disease and hypertension as well as smoking cessation and weight loss were discussedand suggestions for lifestyle modifications were offered. Employees were also referred to different facilities to receive further assistance. (08/2006)

  • American Heart Association Sponsored CounselingPerformed health screenings for cholesterol, diabetes and hypertension to help identify these conditions in individuals from the community and thus eliminating their future debilitating effects. Conducted one- on-one counseling sessions with patients that focused on developing skills to effectively control lifestyle diseases through diet and exercise. (08/2008)
