Jana Boyd, PhD, LMFT, Program Director
Jana has over 20 yrs of experience working with individuals and couples, and especially loves her work with Loma Linda University Health employees and students. She is particularly interested in the relationship between spiritual and emotional health and the influence of culture on relational dynamics. She has three teenage+ children and enjoys living in the mountains.
Davidia Benavidez, MS, LMFT
Davidia loves the value of wholeness and enjoys journeying with clients to support them through life’s difficult moments. Davidia has worked with children and families, individuals and couples, and has additional training in Restoration Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Family Life Education, and human and organizational development. In her more playful moments, you can usually find her doing barre or yoga, dining out, and hanging with family and friends.
Margarita Rodriguez, MS, LMFT
Margarita journeyed from the teaching field as a High School Foreign Language teacher and the LE field as a Police/911 Dispatcher. She enjoys working with children and their families, motivated individuals and couples. She is EMDR and TFCBT trained and appreciates a client centered approach with strong CBT and DBT influences. She has a passion for the Eating Disorder population and has experience with Family Based Treatment. She appreciates the acquisition of skills/tools to support and encourage resilience during life’s challenges, however, acknowledges that, foundationally, The Lord IS the One who “heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Psalm 147:3. Margarita values her time in God’s Word, spending time with family, and staying fit/healthy.
Marion Swenson, MS, LMFT
While Marion works well with individuals and couples, she especially enjoys working with students and women and has great insight into cross-cultural issues. She also has a certificate in substance abuse treatment. Marion has 4 grown children and a wealth of life experience to bring to her work.
Francine Walton, MA, AMFT
Francine was called to the ministry of counseling after having a career in sales. She brings a wealth of warmth, humor, and experience to her work in addition to specialized training and certification in Domestic Violence and Substance Abuse Counseling. She enjoys working with individuals, couples and families. Francine loves to spend time with her friends and do discount shopping
Zachary Wyman, MS, AMFT
Zach has a background working with individuals, couples, and families in general counseling but he also has specialized training and experience working with adolescents with autism and their families. Zach works primarily from the theoretical orientation of Acceptance & Commitment Therapy which focuses on using mindfulness practices, values clarification, and taking valued action. Zach and his wife especially enjoy desert camping.
