More Programs and Projects
As our community’s short-term and long-term needs change, so does our list of programs and other projects. From COVID-19 assistance to continuing education, you’ll find our volunteers wherever there’s an opportunity for local service.
Fresh Produce Distribution
Community volunteers welcome | Flexible commitment
The Fresh Produce Distribution event provides local families with food access to fresh fruits and vegetables every Friday at the Jardin de la Salud community garden.
Academic Tutoring
LLU volunteers preferred | Ongoing commitment
Kids 5–18 can get tutoring from LLU students on either specific subjects or completing homework. Whenever possible, we pair students with a specific mentor for the best possible outcomes.
Music Tutoring
LLU volunteers preferred | Ongoing commitment
Kids 5–18 can get music and singing lessons from LLU students. Instruments include violin, cello, piano and guitar — instruments and cases are available upon request.
Community Engaged Student Advisory (CESA)
LLU students only | Ongoing commitment
All service projects on campus start with student ideas. The CESA is a group of community service representatives and service-oriented LLU students offering each other mutual support. To learn about joining, email us at caps@llu.edu.
Non-LLU Programs
There are many organizations offering resources and volunteer opportunities in our local community. Find out about their services and learn how to get involved.
