2016 - "Engaging Learners for Deep and Lasting Learning" featured Keynote lecturer Michelle L. Deck, RN, MEd

2014 - "Engaging Students in Health Professional Education" featured Keynote lecturer Elizabeth Barkley, PhD.

2012 - "Brain-based Learning" with Keynote lecturer Barbara Mills, PhD, of the Teaching and Learning Center at the University of Texas.

2010 - "The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning." The week was highlighted by presentations and consultations provided by Dr. Jeanette Norden, of Vanderbilt University.

2008 - "Creating effective learning environments" featured Jeannette Norden of Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and Todd Zakrajsek,  of the Faculty Center for Innovative Teaching, Central Michigan University.

2006 - "Creating a Learning Culture" featured Tom Brown, recent keynote speaker at the Teaching Professor Conference, where he spoke on "Teaching Beyond the Classroom." Other speakers included Maurice Hitchcock from USC’s Keck School of Medicine whose topics included Lessons Learned From Junior Faculty: Quick Starters, Successful Researchers at Medical Schools: Predictors from Connections, and Core Elements of Successful Faculty: Contributors to Effectiveness. Dr. Terry Ray, from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, helped Loma Linda University kick off its new Formative Dialogues in Teaching program at the education conference. Over 30 LLU faculty members were certified at the workshop.

2002 - "Integrating Faith & Learning" - Major addresses included Dr. Marilyn Eggers on "Integrating faith and learning in online courses" and Dr. Dallas Willard's "The relevance of Jesus to academic life today."

2000 - "Excellence in Education for the New Century" featured a keynote address by Marilyn R. Eggers, then Director of Advancing Technology in Education Project for the Pacific Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Dr. Eggers is now Associate Provost at Loma Linda University.

1998 - "Education Futures & Technology" featured Sir John Daniel, Vice Chancellor of the world renowned Open University. The conference took place on May 14, 1998 at the Wong Kerlee International Conference Center and was attended by educators from all over the State of California, including the greater Inland Empire area. Another noted speaker was John Tagg, co-author of the famous article from Change magazine, “From Teaching to Learning: A New Paradigm for Undergraduate Education.

Prior to 1998, education conferences were held at the Drayson Center and featured faculty from Loma Linda University and neighboring colleges and university who shared their expertise and demonstrated innovations in teaching. Awards and recognition were given to outstanding contributions.
