Committee Membership (LLU)

  • Associate Chairs\' Meeting - This is the weekly administrative meeting held by the Associate Dean for Basic Sciences and attended by the Associate Chairs of each Basic Science Department, together with representatives from the Research Centers within the School of Medicine. (01/2007 - 06/2007)
  • eUniversity - This is Dr. D.P. Harris\' information technology meeting that meets quarterly. (07/2006 - 06/2007)
  • eUniversity Research Subcommitee - This is a Research Subcommittee of the main eUniversity committee and is charged with discussing issues involving information technology in research activities on campus. This committee is chaired by Dr. Duerksen-Hughes. (07/2006 - 06/2007)
  • eUniversity - This is Chancellor Hart\'s commitee to examine and advance information technology on the LLU campus (07/2005 - 06/2006)
  • eUniversity Research Subcommitee - This committee is charged with improving the information-based resources available to support research on the LLU campus (07/2005 - 06/2006)
  • Promotions & Tenure - This is the School of Medicine committee that reviews, considers, and makes recommendations to the Dean regarding promotions and tenure. (07/2004 - 06/2005)
  • Stipend Committee - This is the committee within the Graduate School that considers and recommends stipend support for graduate students on the LLU campus. (07/2004 - 06/2005)
  • eUniversity - This is Chancellor Hart\'s committee to examine and advance information technology on the LLU campus. (07/2004 - 06/2005)
  • Research Commission - This is Dr. Hart\'s committee charged to examine research infrastructure and indirect cost allocations on the LLU campus. (07/2004 - 06/2005)
  • Learning & Technology - This is Mailen Kootsey/Billy Hughes\' committee to discuss and advance the use of information technology in education on the LLU campus. (07/2004 - 06/2005)

Community Service

  • Claremont Stars Soccer Club - This is a non-profit youth club soccer organization for which I serve as both a team manager and a vice-president on the board of directors. The club includes approximately 400 youth players between the ages of 8 and 18, organized into 20 different teams that play competitively throughout the State of California. (07/2006 - 06/2007)

  • Communications Committee - This is a committee within the First United Methodist Church of Claremont that is charged with planning and organizing public communications from the church. (07/2004 - 06/2005)
  • Claremont Stars - This is a non-profit youth club soccer organization in which I am a board member, a team manager, and a coach. This club includes approximately 17 youth teams that play year-round. (07/2004 - 06/2005)
