Online Programs

The School of Public Health offers an online executive master of public health degree with a choice of two majors, public health practice and health education.

Bachelor of Science in Public Health Programs

The program leading to the bachelor of science in public health (BSPH) degree is designed to prepare individuals for professional positions in health and related fields; provide a base for graduate study; and provide a foundation for personal growth.

Doctor of Public Health Programs

The doctor of public health (DrPH) degree program is designed to provide comprehensive academic and research training in the field of public health.

Master of Business Administration Programs

The master of business administration (MBA) degree provides a broad understanding of health care management; it also provides hands on experience in applying learned principles. The MBA degree is designed for those whose professional objective is a career in health care management.

Master of Public Health Combined Degree Programs

  • MPH with MS (Master of Science) Health Education and Marital and Family Therapy
  • MPH with PsyD (Doctor of Psychology) Health Education and Clinical Psychology
  • MPH with MSW (Master of Social Work): Maternal and Child Health and Social Work
  • MPH with DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) Health Education and Dentistry
  • MPH with MD (Medical Doctor) Health Education and Medicine

Master of Science Programs

The program leading to the master of science degree is designed to provide in-depth specialization in one area of public health, while at the same time assuring an orientation to community health by a required minimum of core public health courses. The degree is offered in the area of biostatistics.

Post-Baccalaureate Certificates

The School of Public Health offers certificate programs in various programs to meet the needs of qualified individuals seeking to develop competencies in specialties in public health but who, for a variety of reasons, do not choose to become full-time, degree-seeking students.
