Master's International Program/Master of Public Health
MIP/MPH students complete course work on the Loma Linda campus in one of seven majors at the School of Public Health. They then enter the Peace Corps in fulfillment of the master's field experience requirement. The School confers a full tuition scholarship for the field experience in addition to the benefits offered by the Peace Corps. Peace Corps volunteers complete three months of training in language, culture, and technical skills, followed by two years of service as public health workers in the assigned host country. Upon satisfactory completion of the two-year Peace Corps service, and the School's required master's paper, the student is awarded a master of public health degree in their respective major.

- Environmental and occupational health
- Global health
- Health administration (master of business administration and master of public health)
- Health education
- Health education with maternal and child health (dual major program)
- Maternal and child health (limited to licensed health professionals)
- Nutrition
Upon receipt of the degree, students may opt to return to international work while finding themselves fully qualified to secure employment in public health professions in the United States. Graduates of this program receive priority placement for U.S. government positions for one year after completion of Peace Corps service.
