Dr. William Dysinger, MD, MPH, released a CD-ROM with research about the School of Public Health's history. Dr. Dysinger is preparing to publish a companion storybook that extracts interesting stories and inspiration from his recent historical research contained on the CD-ROM.
In addition to being a historical narrative, this storybook briefly describes each public health discipline and illustrates it in the stories of community health and outreach programs from Loma Linda. It is hoped that the excitement and drama of public health will be clearly visible in the words and pictures of this book.
