SPH faculty member honored by Soroptimsts
Dora Barilla, MPH
Dora Barilla, MPH, a faculty member and doctoral student in the School of Public Health, was honored April 10 with the Women Helping Women Award from Soroptimist International of Montclair/Inland Valley during its 17th annual Prism Award Luncheon. She was recognized because of her passion for improving the lives of women and children. Ms. Barilla is a leading advocate in the Inland Empire for changing the health care system. In addition to her work at LLU, she serves as executive director of Partners for Better Health, a not-for-profit that promotes local health initiatives.
