Designs for Health brings current public health problems and topics into the classroom and on television. Public health experts present their findings from the various areas of the discipline each week.
Presentations are recorded on Tuesdays from 12 to 1 p.m. at Loma Linda Broadcasting Network (LLBN) and video conferenced to the School of Public Health (Nichol Hall, Room 1610).
Boaz Papendick, a Loma Linda University School of Public Health student, hosts the program and introduces the different speakers. He is a master of public health student in the department of Global Health, currently working on his practicum with Community-Academic Partners in Service, a Loma Linda University service organization dedicated to linking students in local service opportunities.
Boaz is married to LaRae who is working on a master of public health degree in epidemiology and biostatistics. They are the proud parents of Bashir.
