Students for International Mission Service (SIMS)

A good year for SIMS

J.C. Belliard
Juan Carlos Belliard, SIMS program director
This has been a good year for the Students for International Mission Service program, filled with many activities that have taken us from distant countries to the barrios of San Bernardino.

It continues to bring me great pleasure to hear the stories of students who return with a new outlook on life and a stronger spiritual commitment.

We have had excellent feedback from both our returning volunteers and our site hosts, and continue to build relationships that will last for eternity.

Looking back at what has been accomplished this year and how lives have been changed, I would like to dedicate this issue to all the students and SIMS staff that make it possible.

A big thank you to a few good men and women who have dedicated part of their lives to the mission of SIMS and Loma Linda in helping to provide these incredible mission opportunities.

My hope and desire is that the SIMS staff, officers, representatives, and all the "friends of SIMS" can experience the same satisfaction I have in this work.

And to all SIMS alumni, remember, we are a family no matter where you may be reading this-whether it be Guatemala, Paraguay, Kenya, India, or San Bernardino.

May God bless you all.
