Email
Your LLU email account is the email account LLU will use to communicate with you. It will be activated when you accept your offer of admission. You can access your student email account via the web at http://webmail.llu.edu.
- User name: The characters before the @ symbol in your LLU email address. For example, the user name for this email address, jsmith@llu.edu, is jsmith. Your LLU email address can be found when you access your registration worksheet. To find your registration worksheet, log into www.llu.edu/ssweb with your student services PIN, and click on Registration Menu.
- Initial email password: Your initial email password is your student ID number. This is a seven digit number beginning with an 8 (e.g., 8123456). The number is on your registration forms and your student ID badge.
- This password is synchronized with your LLUonline password.
- It is required that you change your initial password. Change your password here http://swap.llu.edu.

LLUonline (Blackboard)

- Browser capability: It is preferable to use IE 5.5 or 6x. Netscape 7.1 also works. Netscape 4.7x is incompatible with Blackboard.

Library
A user name and password is needed for off campus access to many library services including library databases, online full-text articles, Link+, electronic reserves and interlibrary loan.
- Where: You will be prompted to log in with your user name and password whenever you attempt to use a password function from the library web site, <http://library.llu.edu/>.
- User name: Use your name as it is printed on your student ID badge.
- Password: Use the barcode number on your student ID badge.
- PIN number: You will be prompted to select a PIN number the first time you log into a password protected portion of the library web site. Your PIN number can be edited and created from the "My Account" link on the library web site. Link+ users will need to have a PIN selected before a Link+ request is placed.

University wireless network
- Wireless access points are available in the Alumni Hall for Basic Sciences, Cafeteria, Coleman Pavilion, Del Webb Memorial Library, Drayson Center, Evans Hall (Center for Health Promotion), Griggs Hall, Magan Hall, Mortensen Hall, Nelson House, Randall Visitors Center, Risley Hall, Shryock Hall, Student Center, and West Hall with more locations to come. - WEP = disable WEP encryption
- Mode or Network Type = Infrastructure mode or Access Point
Student Services

- Login: Log in with your student ID number, located on your student ID card and registration form.
- PIN: Your initial PIN will be mailed to you once you register for the first time, or apply for financial aid. The first time you log in, you will be prompted to change your PIN. Your PIN is your electronic signature. Keep it safe.

Internet Service Provider
Full-time students can contact the School of Medicine's finance office in the Coleman Pavilion, room A1116 or at (909) 558-1000, extension 88115 to establish off-campus Internet service.
