Executive health provides a comprehensive health evaluation and is followed by targeted interventions. Diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, and obesity can be prevented and treated aggressively. Some cancers can be prevented, or at least detected at an early stage, leading to a more successful treatment. Screening procedures routinely include physical examination, laboratory testing, cardiovascular stress testing, and other tests as medically indicated or requested, such as audiometry, vision screening, pulmonary function and body composition testing. If desired, a referral can be made for a total body-scan which can include coronary artery calcium scores, virtual colonoscopy, and bone density studies.
Information is of little value if it is not applied. After the initial assessment, a follow-up visit is routinely provided to review testing results and facilitate a treatment plan. This may include medications when needed, nutritional plans, exercise prescriptions, complimentary medical modalities, and psychological strategies. The Center operates a state-of-the-art computerized health assessment and medical records system, which strongly contributes to the quality of care.
There are two ways to access this program. We work carefully with corporate human resources departments to optimize wellness of executives. Many individuals also choose to take advantage of this program.
