Community Kids Connection (CKC) Saturday: Connect with local kids, LLU students, and community members in plays, biblical stories, games and artistic endeavors. Students are welcome to come independently or sign up to lead as a group. You can volunteer any Sabbath from 10:00 - 12:00 a.m. throughout the academic year, October-June. |
| Community Kids Connection Soccer Superstars: Come help local kids in San Bernardino become Soccer Superstars this June and July! Every Tuesday and Thursday, 4:15 p.m. to 6 p.m., we stretch, learn skills and scrimmage! We need volunteers willing to play & coach kids (6-16 y/o) and supervise the smaller kids. No soccer skills necessary, just great attitude and love for kids! Located at SACHS Norton Clinic (Tippecanoe & 3rd St). Community Mother's Connection: Join mothers of CKC children and support in teaching English and Computer classes. Also have fun and work on crafts for their homes. Project Hope: Under the supervision of the Department of Pediatrics, LLU student volunteers build supportive relationships with pregnant teens or young mothers at local San Bernardino high schools through crafts, games, and one-on-one mentoring. We meet on Friday afternoons from 1:15-2:30 throughout the academic year, October-April, and each mentor is asked to commit for a semester. |
| Project Special Opps: LLU students (male) provide individual mentoring for boys identified by school administrators as at-risk for academic failure or behavioral problems. They meet weekly, October-April, at the high school campuses and Norton Neighborhood with their assigned students to form positive relationships and serve to become role models. | |

Students Teaching AIDS to Students (STATS) is a program where you can teach local high school students about AIDS and safe sex practices. Time commitment and training are minimal, but the effects on the students' lives are big! |

The Operation Jessica program places teens in the setting of nature and supports them in healing from the wounds of their pasts and in experiencing God's restoring power as greater than their own. | ||

SACHS Student Community Clinic (SSCC) Thursday Evenings: A student led health clinic at SACHS Norton facility, focusing on the uninsured population of San Bernardino County. SSCC provides medical care, pharmaceutical advice and education, and behavioral health counseling and assistance. You can volunteer through your respective school by contacting your school’s coordinator.

Si Se Puede: A summer program sponsored by LLU introducing promising Hispanic/Latino High School students to careers in the health sciences. High School students spend a week on the LLU campus visiting different schools and hearing from LLU staff and students. LLU volunteers needed to support throughout the week.
