Staying Healthy during flu season

The School of Allied Health Professions is concerned about the health of our student body during flu season.  We encourage students, faculty and staff who are experiencing flu symptons to stay home to decrease the spreading of the flu to others.  Here are some tips provided by the CDC to help during flu season.

For students:

Loma Linda University is requiring the vaccination of the entire student population for the H1N1 influenza virus and the seasonal influenza to limit the likelihood of a large scale ooutbreak on our campus while protecting visitors and patients from our extended community.  Students who do not comply with this University policy will have a hold placed on their spring quarter registration.  Vaccinations are covered for those students who currently are insured with Risk Management.  Please check your student email for further information from Student Health Service.
