Training on Title IX is a priority for Loma Linda University. Faculty members receive training every other year, while students receive annual training. Training includes statistics on the prevalence of sexual harassment and sexual violence in the educational setting, the differing rates at which students experience sexual harassment and sexual assault in the education setting based on their race, sexual orientation, disability, gender and gender identity. 

For faculty and employees, the content includes how to handle, in a trauma-informed manner, reports made to them of sexual harassment or sexual violence, and situations in which they are aware of sexual harassment or sexual violence, in student residential facilities.
